General info

Truespeed is a program that shows how much some program really takes CPU time. "Top" sometimes may show false values of CPU consumption, but Truespeed always shows the true amount of CPU time consumed. It does this by setting itself to nice level 20 and then hogging all the leftover CPU time and comparing to a pre-calibrated setting.

Truespeed is distributed under the GNU General Public License.

Note: Truespeed requires GTK+ 1.2.x to compile.
